And he blew the house down

Answers in Genesis has a column about cavemen.

I think they miss a major reason for dwelling in caves: would you live in a timber-frame house with dinosaurs tromping around?

I wish someone could convince Answers in Genesis that they're mistaken about the genealogies, which were proved long ago to have short gaps in them so that we don't have to believe in Ussher's 6,000 year chronology of dispensationalism. It's obvious that populations couldn't have grown the way the Bible itself shows they grew in 6,000 years, and if they would allow for eight to twelve there would be time for everything. This is what most creationists believe, but since Scofield, the dispensationalists have got the loudest voice.
